Onlinematches via Google Calendar
We now have a Calendar-Section here, based on the Google Calendar. Everybody can see if there are games suggested by players. Everyone who has a GoogleCalendar account can add and change matches and invite people. There usually are games on weekends and in the evenings every few days.

<--- Follow this link: Onlinematches

If you set up a game, try to give some information, like the example below:
MAXR Game | 3-5 Players
When: Thuesday, 1. September, 20:00 – 23:30
Where: We meet at IRC: Server: irc.freenode.net, Port: 6667, Room: #maxr
Desciption: GMT +01:00 (Europe) | Host: Sandman

Feel free to copy and edit.

Cheers,
Sandman

Anyone who wants to USE this Google Calendar,

please write your emailadress to me, so I can register it to our MAXR-Calendar and you are able to use it. Shedules will be shown at Onlinematches and anyone registered can edit them through the own GoogleCalender Account.

Thank you!
Sandman

While this is a nice idea, experience tells me that noone will use this, sadly. Too much effort is required. Violates the KISS rule. Wink

Would be nice to have a Calender function directly implemented via the forum and prominently displayed on the portal, so that a simple refresh of the main page would tell anyone when games are scheduled.
