Hey PK - you got some things wrong
Gus was the dude that worked on the AI that's why we're questioning him stuff about the AI and not about the network Duke is still trying to get in contact with the guy that did all the network stuff you know 
Beside that are the most active max-gamers here playing on the intranet - in small lans using IPX or, if they have an old win98 avaible, using Khan and Co over tcp/ip over the internet. This will change using MMsMax the moment netcode and game are stable and playable. That's where MM is focussing about: Multiplayer over the net. He is *not* going to implement the AI (however it would be a nice addon, of course).
