I'm still a bit confused. What is the name and exact location of the "reinstaller" program? If you go to your page (http://www.maxthegame.de/bbs/docs.php?id=7) and click on the link "reinstaller" (http://www.maxthegame.de/bbs/docs.php?id=3) you'll go to the page that has the links for MAX-Reloaded_0.1.5.rar Basic package 0.1.5 for win32. So I thought that the 0.1.5.rar basic package *was* the reinstaller.
I've followed your instructions in 1) above and it now loads much more than it did before, but it still gets stuck when loading the buildings, please see the attached log file.
I think we're getting somewhere, but still not totally on the same page

Note, that the resinstaller and MAXR are two different programms.
so there are 2 posibilities:
1) You didn't use the resinstaller at all and used the 0.1.5 release of MAXR. Then you need to install the inofficial packet. It contains all necessary files.

2) you have built the resinstaller yourself from svn. Then you have to use although the current SVN Version of MAXR, since the resinstaller doesn't work for the 0.1.5 Version.
