I didn't check the lengths of the new, so some of the menu doesn't look quite so nice. If you're going for a perfect reconstruction of MAX, then there needs to be a few changes to the menu sections to accommodate the original descriptions, as well as changes to how the game handles the in-game messages.
Menus in high definition, you say? I'm on it!
Did you want the menus to be faithful to the original MAX? If so, I need an explanation of the "game options" menu. Here's how the original looks (in English).
