I simply love the assault gun. Even it's design. It's one of the best units max offers, imho
I also love to do a lot of damage with infantry. Attacking and defending. Together with a well armored APC my infantry is known for hit'n'run attacks where you don't expect it. I even use them to counter missile crawler "death from above" attacks.
As for building up? Depends. I usually start the classic way. Light factory. Huge. Perhaps sea and air. Bad way against offensive opponents like Nager
