I like playing the Chosen and beef up the AWAC's scan range, it makes reconning much easier, and helps in defending outposts until a ground radar is built. An AWAC with a few fighters and ground attack planes is rather difficult to shoot down -- or so I believe, but feel free to prove me wrong so I change my strategy.
