Thanks for your very detailed bug report including savegame and reproduce testing. As Eiko mentioned this should already be fixed in SVN. You can obtain a developer snapshot from downloads or directly from SVN if you feel lucky. Also rest assure that this is not the Resinstallers fault, so there speaks nothing against it's use
You can also combine the free stuff with the Resinstaller depending on how you like it best.
