Some more pointers:
Sorry to be not more helpful. But when getting the rpath right, you should get it working.
As an alternative (but not so good) you can try to use the frameworks I provided in the 0.2.8 build (but they are not the newest version) instead of the ones you are using currently. They have the executable_path set, so that they should be found on a user's machine that doesn't have the sdl frameworks installed in the global location.
Some more pointers:
- Check in the terminal "man install_name_tool"
- google about rpath and xcode. You will find something. For example these:
