Subject: Multiplayer preview:

Today we managed to play a normal game with 3 people up to round 33 (when my client crashed because of a known bug). We had two windows boxes and 1 linux box together for this game. I just managed to crush an attackwave from Doc when the game was over. What to say.. it was a lot of fun to see this after almost one year of development. Especially Doc and Eiko are doing a good job on this and we are almost done for a new release featuring network gaming using TCP/IP over the net. There is however still a long way to go and the next release can not be considered a stable game and it will in fact lack a lot of features that have already worked in the last release's hot seat mode. This is due the nature of changes in maxr's engine code. The structure was changed to a client <=> server mode even for single player games. This is a huge change in the game core and a lot of new bugs will appear because of that.
