I'm a quite experienced programmer (I had my own project http://everborn.sourceforge.net/ ) and fantasized a lot about rewriting MAX, so if I can help with something specific please let me know.

We usually chat in the evenings at about 20:00 (GMT+1). Most activity is on the weekend if course.

Feel free to walk the bugtracker Wink Patches are always welcome. You can attach patches at the tracker or the bbs as well. Since I'm the only linux dev on this project any help is welcome.

About your problem you reported on the tracker: I wrote a hack using the image from unit-in-storage in case the flc doesn't exist. What kind of MAX CD did you use exactly? Or is this a cutted version without flcs and most sounds from the web? In this case resinstaller can't work and you have to get needed gfx from SVN first.

If you used an original MAX CD please provide us with informations about (languages, versions, label and a directory listing of course!).

I attached the resinstaller log for the missing files, indeed, I'm using a cut version lacking many files.
Pity the game crashes when it does not find the files, since they are not all that useful for the actual game.
