Subject: A project's name is it's identity A project's name is it's identity Hi folks. This is something I simply want to make clear. Our little clone project here starts to become famous. That's primary a good thing. However when I check with e.g. a search engine or whenever I see a newsfeed about MAXR I'm puzzled once in a while. During the founding we had no clear statements in our ABOUT or other readmes distributed with MAXR and while the project name itself was firm from the beginning everbody used his own shortcuts. However we changed that long long ago consequently in all files[1]. So if you spread the word (or see others spreading the word) keep the following things in mind:
So please stop referring to maxr as "MAX R" (you see that blank? no blank there!), MAX Reloaded, M.A.X. Reloaded, MM's MAX or whatsoever and don't write that MM is the author of this. He is not. Please RTF-READMEs from time to time and if you see people blogging such rubbish talk to them and show them that they're wrong. Thanks for reading [1] If there's still somewhere an invalid shortcut lurking around tell us! |
