MAX2 ist crap. And we ALL own already the legal official MAX, would be here otherwise? Invest the 4 $ into a maxr donation! And skip paypal criminals, get the direct link.

I do know a few guys who never played the original M.A.X., who were drawn to it by the lore of epic battles in MAXR everywhere they went.

Hm.. I wouldn't say this. Really. A reason why we created the free gfx set is the fact that not everybody has a copy of MAX nowadays. Mine was in heavy use and I've already 2 broken CDs. Glad I have backups. There are also new players that didn't play the original before.
