Subject: dvd case cover

Hi,
this started as a simple dvd cover image for my maxr backup stuff I do. While looking over my dvd cover templates I thought.. why not? Let's let this look nice in my dvd shelf too. After putting together some maxr menu images and screenshots I ended up with this.

PDF: probably the best way to get this printed
JPG: more as a reference. I don't think that the export cared about my metrics (27,5cm x 18,50cm) for a typical dvd case but see for yourself.

I like it, though I find the front background a bit too bright in comparison to the font- still good idea & job.

woooow i LOVE this Community
it looks VERY nice.
You've done very good work!
Maybe the "PC CD-ROM" isnt the best description down there, because it's for mac, too Wink

e.g. Blizzard writes there:
PC
MAC
CD-ROM

Maybe but how do you cover all of that? And as far as I know is PC still for Personal Computer and not for Microsoft so I guess people can life with that Smiling

D'uh.. I think I have to resize this a little bit. My latest bunch of dvd cases is "smaller". About 1cm perhaps. That's a lot for a piece of paper. Damn it.

You're right about that. It's a problem that goes for most maxr menus/dialogs itself. I added a ticket for this today.

Yes, if you don't want it to do 100% right, it's okay. Grinning

That's exactly why I put the "if you payed for this you may have been cheated" on the backside Smiling It's fine with the GPL if you sell this but the costs should only cover the distribution/printings. That happend btw to "UfoAI". Some people bought it on ebay not knowing that it's free and opensource and went back to the UfoAI team for support of all kinds. 'cuz they thought they bought it and now they can claim the support for it. It's a good thing that this is covered in the GPL: absolutly no warranty.
