Subject: Windows SVN - ReInstaller Issues

Probably one for Eiko, but I guess maybe someone else is able to help?

I have patched to the latest Windows SVN release (Rev 2690) and the reinstaller runs fine, but I had to do quite a bit of messing around to get it working correctly.

The issue was that it seems not to be able to handle spaces in the folder paths. So mine was installed in E:\Program Files (x86)\M.A.X. Reloaded\ but I could not specify this to the resinstaller, even if I used the standard double quotes around it (" ") as you would normally do with windows paths that have spaces.

I got around it by taking copies of my original MAX directory and the MAXR directory, put them in my root C:\ drive, run the reinstaller and then copied the files back across but I wondered if there was a way of making that a little easier?

Thanks,
WittZi

afair this is fixed in svn already since I fiddled with the input method a few days ago Innocent could you check what revision your svn build is?

Ok, I'll build a new resinstaller and update the debug patch. Then you can test it and give us some feedback Smiling

Great, thanks Eiko.
