Ahhh I see. As the most recent releases of MAXR are on Windows and OSX platforms I thought that the majority of devs were Mac and Windows based.

Incidentally, I'm willing to throw you a few OSX licenses to build a VM that that you could use for dev work (I couldn't afford to provide iPads or iMacs)! I genuinely believe that a tablet version of MAXR would go down in history as one of the most legendary games ever made!

I agree. Grinning
But ... we have to support Android-Tablets then, too.

Why would you (although I guess it would be great if you could)?

iPad's need it to be developed on iOS, so you're kind of stuck there and would have to develop for that platform specifically if you wanted an iPad version. However, with tablet versions of Ubunto on the horizon for Android devices and Windows 8 giving full tablet support in 2012 most other platforms are essentially already catered for. Ok - so you might need a few tweaks to get gestures and touch specific features working but I'm guessing that won't be so bad (easy for me to say)!

Developing for a specific OS sucks. Especially for Tablets.

There's more sense in using the power of HTML5 and JavaScript and write this OS independent in a webbrowser. I've already some thoughts on that.
