Subject: MAX running on an Android Tablet (DosBox Turbo)

I found this video on YouTube last night:

"MAX and XCOM on Nexus 10 DosBox = AWESOME!"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LrIwwIb2gDU

"Just a quick demo of M.A.X. and X-COM TFTD on the Google Nexus 10 running Android 4.2. It's running using DosBox Turbo which is useful as it has a BETA experimental mouse feature which means you can use the screen as a track pad or use absolute references i.e. you can simply touch the screen (which I'm still getting used to)! I did absolte for XCOM and trackpad for M.A.X. If anyone else has any suggestions for awesome DOS games that I should be playing, please add them in the comments!"

Ha ha - I just noticed this post! Yes, that was my video I posted a while ago!

I actually got rid of the Nexus 10 as I never used it and bought a Chromebook instead as it was much more useful. I did have fun getting MAX and XCOM running on there though.

I just picked up a Nexus 5 and it runs really well on there too in case anyone wants to try also.

Just completely re-flashed/rooted/installed my Nexus 7 with the fast old XenonHD 5.1.1 os and all the recommended bits-and-bobs to get stop the N7 from getting very slow...

And i'm pleased to say MAX seems to be working fine with the free version of DosBox, so thanks for the tip. Only slightly annoying things are it isn't full screen and I seem to get the Android 'side swipe' action menu pop up with infuriating regularity.
