It is more teched up, but it should look more less the same when viewed ingame since all the added stuff will barely be visible from afar.
The main body will get a different texture but aside from that I'm pretty satisfied with it.

It definitely requires a different approach, but it is nice to have a break from all the mechanical stuff.

Turns out it wasn't final at all. Can't study my own work without finding new mistakes each time.


I'm doing the Alien Juggernaut next. I think the original is one of the worst looking MAX units. It almost looks friendly and does not at all fit the juggernaut title and it is not clear how it is supposed to move with legs on water. The turret on the back is also ugly.
I would like to make it something like a mix between the Alien Attack Plane and the Alien Gunboat from MAX2: More sleek, predatory and with a bigger focus on its weaponry.
I don't think this wouldn't make it harder to identify as it would still be very distinct from the other naval units.
