Greetings and good evening.

How is it going?
Is there any place where i can find some kind of a changelog since may this year?

I've been thinking about making a list or directory of M.A.X. related sites and the re-creation attempts.
Anybody know, what other M.A.X. clones there are in existence?
Your M.A.X. Reloaded, our M.A.X. Gold, French look-alike U.M.A.X. is on my list.
There seems to be several sf.net projects on remaking M.A.X., yet none of them have any noticeable progress beyond a web page or two.
Also, fan sites, resource sites, any kind of related resources are also of interest.

What in your opinion are the pros and cons of M.A.X.R. (relative to the original game, excluding running under windows/linux)?
Is the network game only-oriented design still being used?

Last time i checked here in early may this year, my old login worked, now i had to make a new one, since neither the password nor the recovery option works.

just the svn log I guess. there was no release for a while.

bugless and tcp/ip. there's not much more on the list right now

yes. ai is not interesting for maxr for now . wanna play with ai? use dosemu/dosbox and have fun with the original. that's how we see that.

alzi and eiko are making good progress in implementing tcp/ip. The network itself works fairly well at this point but huge part of the engine have to be rewritten now. That's why there wasn't any release in the last months. You may check out the svn and check for yourself

Recovery works just fine and since we changed bbs you need to recover your password in order to access your old account. I noticed however already _long_ ago that your mail adress you used on our bbs wasn't in use any more. I complained about that on your bbs, remember?

Send me another mail adress of yours (not the same for your current account since every adress on the bbs has to be unique of course).
