Our source code is not only available, it is open source The easiest way to download it, is here: https://git.maxr.org/...rchive.zip This is ok for first experiments. The more advanced way is to install git and clone our repository from here: git@git.maxr.org:maxr/maxr.git

I'll try to post a link to a manual which describes how to compile maxr tomorrow.

And yes, the MAX 1 code is definitely lost. I don't know if anyone has ever tried to get the MAX 2 code. I doubt it, because nobody wants to play MAX 2
