The title pretty explains what this is about. I've never really been good with introductions so I'll just get to the point. I'm mainly curious as to how you run the unofficial 1.56 patch. I've read the saves aren't compatible with 1.04, but the only version I've found that has the altered saves included was and illegal download which is a route I'd like to avoid. I'm also curious as to what MAX Gold is; does it have anything to do with Reloaded?

I hope you can assist me with these questions, I wish there were more forums/fan sites for this game.

There is no official one.

Version 1.56 is _probably_ an internal debug version somewhere between 1.02 and 1.03.

Internal debug version? hmm. I though it was an unofficial patch that continues 1.04's fixes. At least that's what they mention in the few sources for info I can find about it.

Also after being unable to find a non pirate copy of the patch I finally decided to make one myself. Available here is the version from the Russian site but with the warez removed making it legal.

Anyways, does MAX Gold require original data, further is it still developed?

I know of no MAX clone that has Singleplayer as goal since MAX works just fine in a dosbox.

Not sure if I misread it but it sounded like MAXG supported single player. This is also why I was searching for a version of 1.56 with saves included since missions are simply just save files as you probably know; can't play single player without them. Now I'm just wondering what it fixed.
