perhaps it's linked against a library only shaktazuki has installed on his development system.
The only libraries I included were the standard SDL ones - SDLmain.lib, and SDL.lib. I assume SDL.dll is somewhere on your system path.

Has anyone else compiled or executed it successfully?

I think if you have the appropriate SDL.dll, it should work in win32. Try this - put it in the same directory as MVEPlay.exe .

If you don't have SDL.dll somewhere, how can you play MAXR?
