Subject: MAXR goes Fedora
MAXR goes Fedora
CheekyBoinc did a great job and pushed MAXR to the official
Fedora repos.
Fedora 9 and
Fedora 10 users can install maxr now easily by typing
yum install maxr
maxr-0.2.4-2.fc10.i386.rpm Fedora 10 (i386) RPM
maxr-0.2.4-2.fc10.x86_64.rpm Fedora 10 (x86_64) RPM
maxr-0.2.4-2.fc10.ppc.rpm Fedora 10 (ppc) RPM
maxr-0.2.4-2.fc9.i386.rpm Fedora 9 (i386) RPM
maxr-0.2.4-2.fc9.x86_64.rpm Fedora 9 (x86_64) RPM
maxr-0.2.4-2.fc9.ppc.rpm Fedora 9 (ppc) RPM
The rpm packages can be found at our
downloads page as well. The packages
should work on e.g. OpenSuSE too. Please send us feedback whether the packages work!
