Here it what you've been waiting for. Our latest release with a lof of new features, a brand new installer for windows and a lot of fixed bugs - as usual.

Sound Artist:

We're happy to introduce our latest team member [url=profile.php?id=735]rafael_kl[/url] working for MAXR as a sound artist in his leisure time. He created some nice sounds already included in this release. Hopefully we'll see a lot more good work like this the next months

New translation:

We also welcome the new translator NeoGuardian () for slovenian translation. To change the language open your max.xml config, locate the "Language" value and change ENG to SLV. Please report typos or suggestions to the maintainer directly and help making MAXR better.

If maxr fails to start maxr.log is a good place to start. If you're stucked it might be a good idea to take a look at the manual. Please report crashes, bugs, odd behaivors or differences to the original game on the Bugtracker (login with your forum account and your password).

Hint: Drop by on the IRC to find other players. There is no game lobby or some sort of master server. MAXR is a standalone app and you have to find other players the old way. Ask your friends, on the irc or even on the bbs. Remember about timezones when you party.

Make sure to check the manual for hotkeys and ingame commands.

win installer is broken. the resinstaller can't be disabled. installation can't be finished.

until that problem is fixed download the full 0.2.4 version as rar packet and upgrade with the rar patch to 0.2.5 from here under windows.

How do you access the gold upgrades? "U" (as described in the manual) doesn't seem to do anything :/

You have to select a gold raffinery and select Upgrades from it's context menu. Same for research centers

When done buying upgrades you have to upgrade eachs unit manually using depots/hangars/whatsoever. On buildings you'll get a new option "upgrade" and "upgrade all" (from the same type) if you have enough resources to do so.

Hi,
do you know the gold refineries? When you click on the gold refinery building, then there should appear a button besides the building that lets you access the upgrade screen.
