Subject: Best DosBOX settings for playing MAX
What are the best settings for dosBOX config for playing long MAX games?
I am currently using

core=auto
cycles=100000
cycleup=5000
cycledown=5000

But it is only playable in the beginning stages of the game. After the base gets a bit bigger it is difficult to even get a constructor to build anything new.
M.A.X. ^ QuakeWorld ^ Fallout ^ Diablo - humanity never needed any other game.

Hi, me and my friends are using the following settings, and MAX1 is running fine if you quit all other applications except DOSBox.

core=auto
cycles=auto
cycleup=500
cycledown=20

memsize=64
