Sandman ist back, after 13 years, I finally managed to recover my PW and take a look inside this forum again and I was impressed, that my maps have been downloaded up to moren than 26.500 times since 30.05.2009! WOW! Today it is 29.05.2025... and the community is still alive.

Thank you very much guys! And I hope, you all over the world had much, much, MUCH fun playing on those huge maps and had many challinging and cheerfull games. When I made those maps, I thought, it would be for the few 100 ish of us, I never imagined, that this game still will be played by thens of thousands of people all over the world.

Besides M.A.X. I always loved gaming on the Amiga (Dune II), and later on I attended the whole beginning of the RTS-Genre on PC, like C&C, WarCraft, AgeOfEmpires and... Total Annihilation and Supreme Commander and now Beyond All Reason... but M.A.X. ist still one of my alltime favourites, just like Dune II was in my early childhood days.
