We'd like to see some feedback on the new Map Download Section started by Sandman and his really fancy maps. Please leave comments here and don't forget to vote for your favorite maps Smiling

Thank you for voting and giving some feedback.

Based on that it will be easyier to design more maps the way you like. The mapeditor still is in a very early state of developement, there will be much, much more terrain-stuff (mountains, trees, sand, gras, swamps, rocks, etc.) and options (brushes, & functions, etc.) in the future.

Maybe a second poll for the prefered Mapsize would do, too Beko? Could be set in here, beneath the first poll. Lets make it a poll-thread for maps! ^^ There can be a poll for the most liked tileset in the future, also. (urban, snow, desert, vulcan, moon, alien, or whatever... .)

I really like Fjord. The way the landmasses are aligned and seperated makes for a very interesting play with lots of options. I particularly like how the open middle with sea / islands serves as a likely focus point to the action.

Awsome job on this map, can't wait to play 2v2 on this one.

hm can't decide which is the 'best' map… but I think:
256×256: Earth; Pacific; Troll Lands
128×128: Isle Of Man
are all nice maps (and often played).

All in all I really like to play on maps which are designed after locations from the earth Smiling
