Subject: How to find human opponents online
Heya all!

I've just discovered MAXR (I never knew the game MAX), and I tried to play a map. The game looks interesting, but I obviously can't play all by myself. Where can I find people willing to play? Yes, I am a newbie, but I hope someone might be interested in beating me up a couple of times, just to get the proper taste of the game. I know you guys play the game, but this site doesn't look like it has a place where to discuss about a starting a game between two individuals.

Cheers!

It's here Smiling Welcome on the bbs. Make sure to read the manual or maxr can be really frustrating for beginners Wink

When ready simply join the chat room. Make a call for a game and idle until somebody picks up your call Happy We don't have a server lobby yet, sorry.

Subject: Re: How to find human opponents online - with Google Calendar
Hi there,

you'll usually find more people at the weekends, but you can call out for a spontanic game or just finde some people today, that will play during the next days. I have opened a GoogleCalendar for MAX-Players, so anyone who wants to play, can set a date and some information about Maps, Players allready joined and such stuff.

I can introduce you to that Calendar if you wish. The more people use it, the more effective it becomes.

To make an Account, just go to http://www.google.com and sign up at the top right. It only takes 10seconds, to enter an eMailadress and a Nickname. Then whait for the request-eMail and you're ready to sign up.

I just need to know your Google Calendar Nick or Mailadress to add you to that MAXR-Calendar. By the way, I'll declare the Calendar as public, so anyone can see. It can be integrated to the website, if Beko agrees. Smiling

Have a nice time among us.

You're welcome!
