Subject: Save Online Games
Hi,

first of all, great job, i wanted to play MAX with a friend, and within a minute we already were playin. no problems, easy guided, perfect.

but now i have a problem saving games. is this even possible?
we play over hamachi.
if i enter some words in the save-places and press the "save" button below, the words dissapear and nothing happens. if i double click in the save places it ends the game.

i appreciate any help, thanks so far

What build are you using? that is the correct way of saving and it's always worked for me (although i find the double click thing irratating)

Ok i have found what is the problem. If you have installed MAXR in the normal "C:\Programm Files\" folder maxr has no writting access on windows vista. You have to install it in an other folder or run maxr with a rightclick on the exe and then "run as administrator" (or something like this. It's in german here ^^)
I think we realy need to make use of the user folders for savegames, as beko always told us ^^

I have noticed more games using save folders from "My Documents" to get past this (and I forgot about that sorry)
