That game was Jazz, Rebel and me. Both learned to fear my brave infantry striking early in the game. Just due a lot of luck survived Jazz's constructeur und his heavy power plant. I had much more success on Rebel with my early APC tactics. He even managed to destroy his own radar during defeating my last "marines" Grinning

We stopped the game at that point because of the late time. It was a lot of fun and everything was still open. I had however my first bombers flying and almost no air defence on the other sides but who knows what could have happen. Second screenshot shows the whole map.

Who wants to see the larger, original Picture (1Mb, 2366*2548 Resolution) PN me! Its only possible to upload 500KB and 2048*2048 Resolution.
The left part of the map is missing, about 5%. I copied fully outzoomed Screenshots and even 2560*1024 wasn't enough to get the full view.

We played for about 200+ Rounds, This should be about Round 170+. and lasted just one evening. An example for big games of seek and hide. We had several smaller fights here and there, fighting for forward posts, hit and run, while researching and expanding at the mainbase. I don't remember the other guys name, he left the game because he felt inferior to my well organized omnipresence, what I didn't think. Could have been a great battle all over the place. Okay, I had quite a research-advance, too, later on.

See-, Air-, Land-Action without any exceptions, so there was a full experience of all talents of the game. Love it! Wink

Stormseeker has got Internet finally at his new house so we got to finish off our one on one, he had a valiant run holding off my forces with massively tweeked missile units and extended reach anti air but finally I broke his front line and folded his base up by taking out strategic points and simply ignoring the rest.

Good game and he's going to be a tough nut to crack soon.

This is a debug match. I played against Corny on Three Isles and managed to give him a hard time with my infantry/apc tactics. It was my luck that I found out about his gunboat tactic early and managed to destroy his harbor early with a suicidal apc attack. I managed to bring up his existing gunboats too after that pushing him into defence. After this it was only a question of time. I jammed him on his isle and brought up enough apcs to D-Day his coast from the south supported by two missile ships and 2 sub crackers Innocent

Debug match again. Me against rogual on my 1vs1 testmap Donuts.wrl (check SVN for this map). I played defensive from the beginning and that's why I lost. I let rogual to much time shooting down awacs and other minor stuff when I realized that he went for teaked gunboats. He fought his way into my harbor inch by inch and in the end I simply had no more offensive units that could do any damage on these monsterboats. It was a good match and even infiltrators took action.

This was a debug match (beko vs DangerMoon) on Mushroom.wrl - the already famous giant pink mushroom map in space Laughing

The map simply rocks for small games. It was good for two players but I can imagine 3 players as well. Due the limited space and resources you have to take every single unit very serious. I played very offensive against DangerMoon who has only played 2 or 3 times against a human opponent before (but a lot of AI fights in MAX) pushing im into defence fast. He started to turtle in a ring of missile towers and crawlers giving me room to spread slowly but constant keeping him busy at the northern frontline all the time.

I played different tactics and switched from devasting assault guns to heavy armored tanks to bruise his defence and to keep him busy while I bought more updates with the 10-gold spot I luckily found. With the time I started adding infiltrators (good boys :)) that helped me a lot removing land mines as well. When I realized that DangerMoon focused to much on my ground attack units not caring to much about the "sky"/"space" I started to build some heavy armored ground attack planes. After an epic tank rush (actually the 3rd wave) I left his frontline broken and open for my planes. Infiltrators disabled anti air turrets that survived the devasting tank attack and kept shooting down the last missile turrets and factories.

We fought about 160 turns with a lot of hard contact and it was one of the funniest matches I ever played. It's also a new record I think. The game didn't crash for the whole playing time (just had some resync issues that could be solved) for nobody and it really came down to a total defeat including map revealing. Thank you a lot DangerMoon for letting me destroy the base too after I broke the missile tower ring. Most people usually give up spoiling the attacker's fun ripping the rest of the base apart Smiling

Played a 3 player game, me(waldo), eichi1, and Meira. The Map was island hopping. I focused on expanding during the game and was able to build up a sizable base with a nice number of shipyards. Meira was not so lucky, as eichi1's numerous air attacks managed to break through her defenses and cripple her base. I was more lucky, as I only lost a number of anti aircracft towers during the match until I could repulse eichi1's air attacks. He also tried to sneak in subs into the base, luckily, I had just enough corvettes to repulse his attacks. In the end eichi1 accepted defeat due to my sizeable base, growing navy, and inability to penetrate my base with just the number of aircraft he had.

It was a fun game.
