Greetings,

I have questions about the original MAX game. I've installated MAX Reloaded and i've grabbed the original sounds and gfx, thanks to "resinstaller" (i have the original MAX). But i would like to distribute the files, because it gets more and more difficult to obtain the original game, especially in french. Can i give out the files in this website, or it makes a problem in legal considerations ?

Anyway, i'm translating the game in french, i see that anyone else has already begun, but i still see no french language to download.

P.S. : i run the game on Gentoo AMD64, and it works quite well.

It's absolutly not legal to distribute original MAX. What you do on your website is your business but MAXR (not max reloaded. I just wrote a damn newspost about that) won't offer such files. The game can still be obtained online for 5$ or 6$ in a bundle with MAX2. We wrote the resinstaller and the free gfx set for exactly that reason

There's a disagreement : i don't intend to give out the whole game, just gfx and music grabbed with resinstaller in french language, because here it's begining to be difficult to have the original game. Then, i didn't know M.A.X. is still in sale. So OK, i understand, i'm not going to distribute these files.

And sorry for the name's project, it's a (bad) habit, i'll keep this in my mind now.
