Hi everybody !

Je lance un sujet en français pour les francophones qui ont vraiment du mal avec la langue de Shakespeare. Y en a t'il sur M.A.X.R ?

Est-ce que quelqu'un est dispo pour me dire comment jouer en réseau ? J'ai cru comprendre que c'était la seule possibilité pour se battre contre un advesaire. Mes connaissances en informatique sont assez limitées.

En tout cas, ça fait plaisir de retrouver ce bon vieux MAX, qui a occupé quelques unes de mes journées pendant plusieurs années.

Je suis parvenu à installer la version 0.2.6 sur windows seven avec le CD original. Ca a l'air de bien marcher !

I research a french player who is able to teach me how to play Maxr with other people and try a battle with him (or her !). My bad level in english don't allow me to understand all in the website.

I was a fanatic of MAX, but my informatic and english levels are problematic ! So I search a french people if it is possible.

Then, I will be pleased to play with all of the MAX fans !

Your best bet would be Troctsch at the moment. He's online a lot and usually on the IRC chatroom too.

Edit: http://www.maxr.org/...t&id=5671 here seems to be a french translation for maxr btw. I've no clue how good it is. It's not yet official because no french was able to finish the job yet and learn about subversion and do a proper maintainer's job. Sad eh?

I don't really want a french version for Maxr (I know all by heart !) but I want some help to play a multiplayer game.

The game works correctly with the singleplayer mode (but without opponents).

I have tried a multiplayer game with my brother but I don't manage to play against him.
I go to TCP/IP host and he goes to TCP/IP client (he writes my IP address)

"Game open (Port 58600)
player is no ready"

And it doesnt' work.
Could you give me the solution ?

Hello,
after you opened the game, your brother has to join your game. He didn't join, because you couldn't see him in your player list to the right. He has to appear there.
When all players are joined, everyone has to click on the red light besides his name to turn it green and show that he is ready. Then you press "OK" and the game should start.

Thanks a lot !

After a ultimate firewall problem, we reached to play MAXR : a fratricidal battle between 3 brothers !
After 72 turns of an hard battle, everyone is still alive despite some battles.

Congratulations for this game !

I'm new here
Tu peux jouer contre un ami sur un seul ordi, en tour par tour. ... Tout du moins sur la version standard de MAX ... Honte à moi je n'ai pas encore essayé MAXR :P
Sinon après je suis comme toi, un peu largué pour ce qui est du réseau ^^
