unfortunately I'm still on 10.9 and the system requirement set in the Info.plist says 10.10, so it won't start. But I changed that setting in the Info.plist to 10.9 and then I could start it and it also seems to work (but this "hack" might introduce bugs / crashes, so it's no cool solution). But you might check, if you can set the deployment target in xcode to 10.9 or even lower. Probably none of your libraries really relies on 10.10.
And thanks for the Gatekeeper hint: The easier way is to just do a right-click on the app and say "Open", then there is still the "untrusted developer" warning, but nevertheless you can continue with opening it.

Shared changes:
- fixed crash with rocket launcher
- fixed required raw mat for builders and factories
- fixed factory restart with cost upgrade
- fixed available resources calculation
- fixed camera for non-square maps
- added save ability in complex plan state

Mac OS:
- still cant fix crash for old OSX versions.

iOS
- fixed push notifications

Windows (PC)
- new sound engine with different volume for unit sounds (thanks a lot Jason MacWilliams)

Android
- improved touch handling

We are working on huge update, which will bring game to a completly different level! But there is a lot to be done yet and this update is a collection of all fixes and small improvements we made last two months.

I can share iOS version also If someone have jailbreaked iPhone or iPad - MAX is GREAT for such devices!

I am currently very, very excited!

I can't believe that I missed this thread when it was initially created. I haven't been able to play for a couple of years (set up a new business which has taken up all my time), but I will actually try and play some more MAXR now and I will also check out this other Android / Windows release.

Shared (for all platforms):
- HUGE changes in unit commands (foundation for future: replays and AI)
- fixed load, repair, upgrade and reload infantry and infiltrators inside depots
- fixed unit activation from depots and factories to cell with hidden unit
- fixed turret shadows
- fixed start game bugs
- fixed stealth bugs
- added ~some kind~ of ai player - you will have to deploy it, but it will be inactive
- added lua script support: you are able to write your own test match
- added infiltrator actions
- added unisets
- added automatiс disappearing for save game window
- added ability to fill units in complex construction mode
- added ability to remove saved local games
- added ability to notify player about his turn (from players screen of multiplayer game)
- added unit highlighting with color of player
- changed multiplayer lobby - you can instanly start to play by tapping on play icon at the right of the game description
- changed unit filter logic for start units an upgrades windows

A lot more fixes and improvements!

specific for Mac OS X:
- fixed text errors if second monitor of mac is active when the app starts

specific for Windows:
- improved mouse click handling

specific for Android:
- fixed parallax effect in main menu (twist your android device while you in mani menu and take a look at the background image)
